Job description
We're looking for an experienced and proactive IT Field Engineer to play a key role in delivering reliable, compliant IT services across our project sites. You'll be hands-on with network configuration, site setups, and technical support, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime for project teams.
This is a highly visible role, working closely with IT colleagues, project teams, and external partners to make sure technology enables safe, efficient, and successful site operations. What you'll be doing
- Ensuring robust network configurations and reliable connectivity across multiple project sites
- Providing prompt technical support and troubleshooting, minimising disruption to live projects
- Setting up and supporting video conferencing and collaboration tools for site and project teams
- Managing site mobilisations and decommissions, with full ownership of IT infrastructure requirements
- Overseeing compliance testing to ensure systems meet company and industry standards
- Working closely with stakeholders to align IT services with project requirements and timelines
- Contributing to continuous improvement by influencing IT service enhancements and innovations
- Implementing and supporting cloud services, including M365, with a strong focus on security and efficiency
- Installing, maintaining, and upgrading IT hardware to meet operational needs
- Solving complex technical issues to ensure project continuity and performance
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of network configuration, ideally using Meraki technologies
- Proven experience working with M365 and cloud-based services
- Hands-on background in hardware installation and technical troubleshooting
- Understanding of IT compliance standards and testing processes
- Confident engaging with stakeholders and coordinating work to live project schedules
