Senior Systems Engineer (C++) - Remote Work

We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with deep C++ experience and a background in systems that operate under serious performance constraints. You've worked on distributed infrastructure, know how to measure and improve execution efficiency, and are comfortable getting into the low-level details that most engineers avoid. You'll be working on the query engine infrastructure behind one of the world's most demanding analytics platforms, contributing to systems that process data at enterprise scale.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement systems-level components in C++ for distributed query processing infrastructure.
• Analyze and optimize system performance using profiling techniques including flame graphs and perf tooling.
• Work on distributed query execution, identifying and resolving inefficiencies at the systems level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance goals and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to benchmarking efforts and help establish performance baselines across system components.
• Support code reviews and promote engineering best practices within the team.

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * 5+ years of experience in IT roles.

• 4+ years of experience with C++ as a primary language in systems engineering contexts.
• Familiarity with query engine or database internals.
• Solid background in distributed systems architecture and operation.
• Experience with low-level performance profiling tools.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
