PHP / Laravel Software Developer (Hybrid, Reigate)

We are looking for a PHP-focused software developer to support the continued development and scaling of the Sync platform.

This role involves working within a Laravel-based, multi-tenant SaaS application. You will be responsible for developing new features, refining existing workflows, and contributing to the overall stability and performance of a live production system.

You will work with structured relational data, business-critical financial and compliance workflows, and API integrations with external services.

While the core focus is backend development, the role includes exposure to frontend components and JavaScript where required, particularly in areas that interact closely with backend logic.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Sync SaaS platform using PHP and Laravel
• Contribute to API development and third-party integrations
• Support and enhance existing backend architecture
• Work with relational databases and structured data models
• Collaborate on frontend functionality where required
• Assist in preparing the platform for future mobile application support
• Contribute to platform stability, performance, and maintainability
• Support basic server and infrastructure tasks where necessary, * Have you worked on systems involving invoicing, payments, compliance, or structured financial data?

Do you have experience in Sage?, * Strong commercial experience with PHP

• Laravel framework experience
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge
• JavaScript experience
• Experience building and integrating APIs
• Comfortable working within an established codebase
• Confidence working in a Linux environment or using the terminal
