Job description

The Systems Support Administrator will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our internal systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Based near our Bradford Head Office, the successful candidate will provide system support across multiple branches, including setting up users, managing customer records, maintaining asset information, performing data imports, conducting regular system checks, and supporting monthly invoicing processes. This role also involves delivering in-person training and support to engineers, so confidence in face-to-face communication and a strong understanding of technology are essential., * User & System Support: Provide day-to-day support for internal users, resolving system-related issues and ensuring smooth operation across departments.

  • Customer Onboarding: Set up new customer accounts in the internal systems and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Credit Management: Raise credit notes accurately and in a timely manner in line with company policies.
  • Contract Administration: Set up and amend customer contracts, including applying charges and adjustments as needed.
  • Site Management: Create and maintain records for new sites, ensuring correct linkage to customer accounts and contracts.
  • Asset Management: Set up equipment (assets) in the system, ensuring accurate tracking and association with sites or contracts.
  • Closures: Process closures for equipment, sites, and customer accounts, ensuring data is updated and relevant teams are informed.
  • Monthly Invoicing: Support the monthly contract invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Price Management: Apply and manage price increases or amendments on contracts in line with business rules.
  • System Integrity Checks: Run regular system reports and audits to ensure accurate setup and identify discrepancies.
  • Data Imports: Import and validate data from external sources to maintain up-to-date system information.
  • Process Adherence: Follow and improve internal processes to ensure consistency and efficiency in system usage.
  • Training & Support: Deliver system training to engineers and staff, ensuring effective understanding and use of internal tools., * A proactive, technology-driven mindset, with a focus on improving processes and supporting system development.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System administration?, * Previous experience in a systems support, data administration, or similar role within a business or operational environment.

  • High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel for data handling and imports).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with data, contracts, and financial information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve system issues independently.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to deliver face-to-face training to non-technical users.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to other branch locations (mainly from the Bradford Head Office base)., * Experience with contract management processes, including setting up and amending pricing, charges, and customer details.
