Job description
Our client is a technology-driven organization focused on delivering intelligent hardware and software solutions that protect assets, improve operational visibility, and enhance public safety. Their systems combine embedded electronics, wireless connectivity, cloud platforms, and data intelligence to solve real-world problems at scale.
This company partners with major retailers, municipalities, and enterprise customers across North America. Their solutions are deployed in the field, operating in dynamic, high-traffic environments where reliability, durability, and performance matter.
They are growing and investing heavily in next-generation connected devices that integrate edge computing, video, sensors, and cloud-based analytics.
Why join us?
You'll have the opportunity to build products that are deployed in the real world, not just prototypes sitting on a bench. The work you do will directly impact customer operations and safety on a daily basis.
This company operates with the agility of a mid-sized technology firm while serving large, established customers. Engineers here have meaningful ownership over architecture decisions, hardware selection, firmware design, and system performance.
Additional highlights:
- Work on connected devices that blend hardware, firmware, and cloud integration
- High visibility role with influence across product and engineering teams
- Collaborative, cross-functional culture (hardware, firmware, cloud, manufacturing, field support)
- Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and shape engineering best practices
- Long product lifecycle ownership from concept through deployment and support
If you enjoy building robust embedded systems that operate in demanding environments and want to see your work deployed at scale, this is a strong opportunity.
