This is a remote-based, part-time freelance role ideal for a Designer with strong connections within UK retail and a knack for opening new revenue streams.
The ideal candidate will be based within the Midlands region for easy access to customer and team meetings.
Womens Wovens Designer - Main Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze current trends, colours, and fabrics
- Design commercial, trend-driven collections tailored for UK buyers
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to build and grow retail relationships
- Attend design meetings and oversee sample development

Requirements
- Proven experience designing commercial women's wovens for UK retailers
- Trend-savvy with the ability to adapt fashion forecasts into sellable styles
- Strong technical knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fit
- Confident communicator and engaging presenter
- Self-starter with excellent organization and deadline management
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Willingness to travel for buyer presentations, monthly meetings, and to visit offshore production.
