Job description
To operate our satellites, a lot of information is needed on ground (e.g. how to command the satellites or how to interpret the data coming from the satellite during integration & flight). The database team develops and maintains the satellite reference database (SRDB) and manages its data. Developing the foundation for storing and defining data structures to operate our satellites is the key item of our daily work. We define interfaces between internal and external stakeholders and establish processes for automatic data exchange. Be part of our team building fascinating satellites and help us to develop software defining telemetry and telecommand data., * Develop and maintain our existing software products using Oracle Database, Java, Oracle APEX / ADF framework and web interfaces
- Continually improve our tooling landscape, evaluate & integrate new frameworks and technologies
- Improve the data entry applications using established tools like MS Excel to interact with the database
- Support and streamline the automatic data exchange interfaces with customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- You are familiar with databases and modelling technologies
- You have experience developing web applications, and with XSD and XML and other structured exchange formats
- Experience with SCOS MIB, EGS-CC and ECSS standards is a plus
- Knowledge of or hands on experience with enterprise tools like PDM and PLM is an advantage
- You are willing to work in an international team
