Our team at the BMW Group focuses on developing AI-driven solutions for analyzing technical documentation, sensor data, and engineering processes. We combine research-oriented approaches with production-relevant machine learning projects to advance innovation in the automotive industry. What awaits you? You will support implementing and experimenting with NLP models for technical document analysis and structured information extraction. Furthermore, you help develop machine learning models for industrial sensor data, including preprocessing, feature engineering and model evaluation. In addition, you contribute to prototyping multimodal pipelines that combine text and numerical data. Moreover, you will assist with real-world industrial datasets and gain insight into scalable data pipelines and AI deployment processes. You will also collaborate directly with the project lead and gain hands-on exposure to applied AI in a production-oriented environment. What should you bring along? Studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics or a related technical field (Master level). Solid programming skills in Python. Basic experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Interest in Natural Language Processing and data-driven modeling.
