Job description
The system software engineer is responsible for preparing customer analysis for the traffic control software and the integration with external systems, this entails:

Providing analysis for offboard solutions for customer solutions

Focusing on individual projects, while making links with previous projects

Thinking along with the customer to meet customer needs
-
Driving standardised solutions
-
Developing customer-specific solutions while still leveraging standardized processes or components.

Merge existing architecture with new technologies to create effective solutions
-
Continually improve standard solutions through innovation
-
Forging collaboration across the KION project realization teams
-
Supporting the project manager in defining system software specifications
-
Supporting the project manager by guarding system software scope during project realization
-
Estimating complexity of projects, including timeline and resource efforts
-
Preparing and maintaining project specific documentation
-
Supporting system software engineers in the development of the project
-
Supporting system software engineers in the commissioning of the project
-
Be involved in every step of the process, from programming to testing, implementation, and training new employees
Requirements

You have strong technical knowledge when it comes to analysis and synthesis
-
You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
-
You are customer-oriented and attach great importance to customer satisfaction
-
You can work autonomously but also express yourself confidently in a team setting
-
You have an eye for detail and attach great importance to quality
-
You are a confident communicator who can express yourself fluently to both internal and external parties
-
You can express yourself in English (additional languages are a plus)
-
You have relevant experience in engineering or computer science, with programming experience in C#.

You can juggle between C#.NET, SQL server, Visual Studio, and other programs.

You have a flexible attitude and are open to traveling sporadically to projects abroad.
