Job description

Do you have several years of work experience as a back-end developer and do you want to learn a new language (Go)? At Nedap you can work in a startup within a large company and ensure that a new and innovative product becomes a success in the market. You will work in a young and ambitious team that operates close to the customer.

For PACE (Create propositions) we are looking for a medior back-end developer who wants to develop itself to a Go Developer. Within Security Atlas you will work with the access governance (). You will deal with online applications that Security Managers of large organizations (> 10,000 employees) use to create and maintain digital building models and to manage and organize access control: who can enter where, when and why? These applications integrate with existing access control systems and identity providers.

'We solve the dilemma between a secure workplace versus manageability and "need to know" versus accessibility with modern techniques. We are unique in this and modern society increasingly demands solutions to this dilemma. Infrastructure will have to handle large volumes of requests and be designed to be resilient.' (Jeroen, Security Specialist)

We are currently busy developing and implementing the MVP together with a co-creation partner in Denmark.

What does your week look like?

  • Daily standup;
  • Sessions in varying composition to create a plan or design;
  • Every two weeks sprint planning and delivery;
  • Working on issues: new features, bugs or (design) tasks;
  • Reviewing code;
  • Pushing to staging/production (AWS) once or several times a day;
  • Paired programming for cracking the hard nuts and knowledge transfer

Work includes TypeScript, Vue.js, GraphQl and Go. In our daily workflow we use Gitlab, Figma and Confluence.

'There is always room to learn new languages and technologies. We mentor this internally and can also integrate it into our daily work integrate.' (Wouter, Team Captain)

And you will work together with another medior developer and an enthusiastic junior. We value the mutual relationships in the team and consider good and clear communication, cooperation and sociability important. We maintain a no-blame culture and always work forward. For example, we take a new version to production several times a day!

The team is young and dynamic and is constantly improving itself. There is plenty of room for your own initiative.

'We tackle problems thoroughly and are driven to get to the essence. At the same time, we have a hands-on approach in the way we do this.' (Wouter, Team Captain)
