Job description
Storage & Backup Platform Engineer within our client's Platform Team. This role is focused on supporting storage operations, backup management, and incident investigation across the enterprise hosting environment.
The candidate would have to have a good foundational knowledge of storage, backup platforms, and virtualisation technologies, and a strong interest in developing deeper expertise within a large-scale platform team, so would suit somebody looking to develop their career.
Skills & Experience (Engineer Grade 2 Level)
- Foundational knowledge of storage management and configuration.
- Basic to intermediate exposure to NetBackup operations (backups, restores, monitoring).
- Awareness or practical experience with VMware environments.
- Understanding or introductory experience with Zerto replication technologies.
- Good general IT skills across operating systems, networking basics, and operational tooling.
