Be a part of it., Joining us on a full time, 40hr per week basis you will work across 5 days in our Birmingham office., A Technical Data Analyst (TDA) plays a critical role in bridging business needs and technical delivery. This Snowflake-focused TDA leverages data analytics, modern cloud warehousing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive insight, optimise processes, and ensure solutions meet business objectives. You will report to the Data Engineering Manager and work closely with the Data Architect and wider data engineering team.
You will help us to create and develop data as we move forward into our new Snowflake environment to ensure we deliver accurate and timely information to the rest of the business., * Gather, document, and evaluate business requirements from stakeholders.

Translate business needs into functional specifications, ERDs and user stories for technical teams.

Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives.

Communicate and validate requirements with relevant collaborators.

Perform data discovery, modelling.

Identify inefficiencies in processes or systems and recommend optimised workflows.

Conduct gap analysis and develop solution proposals.

Support testing and validation of solutions (e.g., UAT) to ensure they meet business requirements.

Assist with project management tasks and cross-functional coordination.

Monitor implemented solutions and recommend enhancements based on feedback.

Prepare mock up reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate insights.

Create documentation covering requirements, processes, findings, and solution designs.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret complex information.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Understanding of business operations, financial modelling, and process mapping.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of workflow/requirement tools like DevOps
- Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Python, Monday
Education & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in in technical/ data projects
- Prior experience using or supporting Snowflake (preferred).
- Background in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field., * Strong data warehousing knowledge, with Snowflake preferred
- Business acumen and ability to understand strategic drivers behind data-related decisions.
- Analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong communication and detailed technical documentation skills
- Collaboration across teams (IT, operations, product, leadership)
- Time management and ability to manage multiple priorities
