Job description

Based in our Jersey or Newcastle offices, as a Senior Analyst, you will lead the analysis and optimization of complex operational processes. This role ensures compliance with Jersey and UK regulations (e.g., KYC), aligns with RBC's risk appetite, and oversees timely client onboarding, exits, and data maintenance. You will drive strategic decision-making, foster innovation, and uphold RBC's values in a collaborative environment.

RBC's expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

  • Analyse and optimize operational processes to identify improvement opportunities and develop strategic solutions.
  • Create and maintain operational metrics, benchmarks, and insights to guide business decisions.
  • Support client onboarding, exits, and data maintenance across systems, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance to team members, promote innovation, and align team goals with organizational strategies.
  • Engage proactively in regulatory and audit reviews, adhering to RBC's Risk & Control Framework and Policy Framework.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Financial services?, * Advanced analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Deep understanding of operational procedures and financial services regulations (e.g., KYC, AML).
  • Consistently able to deliver accurate, high quality work while keeping competing demands on track.
  • A confident user of technology who embraces new ways of working

Nice to have

  • Financial sector experience, particularly in Wealth Management or Private Banking.
