Job description

We're seeking a talented Digital IC Design Engineer to join our innovative team. You'll be instrumental in shaping next-generation integrated circuits for IoT devices, edge AI accelerators, and healthcare applications, focusing on high-performance, ultra-low-power digital signal processing modules.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Develop innovative digital architectures and perform RTL design for ASIC and FPGA.
  • Make critical design trade-offs to achieve minimal power, high performance, and low cost, while ensuring scalability and reusability.
  • Collaborate with digital back-end teams on synthesis and physical implementation.
  • Perform verification, including methodologies, coverage, and constrained random testing.
  • Experimentally validate and characterize your designs in a lab environment.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team and translate customer needs into effective design solutions.

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Electronics Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in digital circuit design using (System)Verilog.
  • Experience with hardware-efficient AI accelerators, event-driven architectures, multi-core systems, or in-memory computing (preferred).
  • Proficiency in hardware modeling and architecting CPU and peripheral subsystems.
  • Experience with digital verification (coverage, methodology, constrained random).
  • Solid understanding of the ASIC design flow: logic synthesis, timing analysis, power simulation.
  • Strong scripting skills: TCL, Matlab, Python; experience with Git.
  • Knowledge of FPGA, low-power design, Cadence tools, C/SystemC is a plus.
