Job description
- As UX Specialist (f/m/div.), you are instrumental in designing the User Experience of our professional development tools for embedded systems.
- Your task is to analyze the complex workflows of software developers and derive intuitive operating concepts for our frontends from these insights.
- As the central contact person for usability, you create requirements, wireframes, and prototypes, and validate their implementation through user tests.
- You act as the "voice of the user" throughout the entire development process, ensuring a first-class Developer Experience.
- Your overarching goal is to sustainably improve the efficiency and satisfaction of our internal and external customers.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Usability?, * Education: Degree in in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Media Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
- Experience & Know-How: Practical experience with typical workflows in embedded software development (e.g., debugging, flashing, parametrization); knowledge of development environments such as Eclipse or VS Code; experience in designing web frontends and desktop applications; several years of professional experience in conceiving and designing user interfaces for complex software, ideally for technical expert tools; profound knowledge of usability methods, requirements analysis, wireframing, and prototyping (e.g., with Figma, Axure); experience in writing user stories and conducting user tests; experience in agile software development teams
- Personality & Working Style: Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high degree of empathy for the user; strong communication skills to convey technical requirements clearly and to act as an interface between users and developers; an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Language: good German; very good English
