Job description
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design integrity, and technical direction of enterprise AI solutions built on the Microsoft AI ecosystem. This role will drive the design and delivery of scalable AI solutions using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Agents 365 Framework, and the Power Platform, taking concepts from rapid experimentation through to enterprise deployment. You will combine deep technical expertise with leadership, guiding delivery teams and ensuring solutions are robust, secure, cost-efficient, and aligned with enterprise standards., # Design enterprise-grade AI solution architectures, including multi-agent systems, scalable infrastructure, security, and enterprise integrations.
Architect RAG solutions, including chunking strategies, vector database selection, and retrieval patterns.
Design and orchestrate multi-agent systems using Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
Define agent behaviour including personality, context, instructions, supervisor logic, and orchestration workflows.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across delivery teams.
Lead AI model selection and evaluation based on technical, commercial, and use-case requirements.
Collaborate with Power Platform specialists to enable seamless enterprise integrations.
AI Performance & Governance
Design AI observability and monitoring frameworks, including evaluation metrics and performance tracking.
Implement cost optimisation strategies, including token management, caching, and API selection.
Design and implement responsible AI guardrails, including safety layers, bias mitigation, and content filtering.
Delivery & Validation
Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Technology (PoT) initiatives to validate architectural approaches.
Produce and own solution design documentation, ensuring design integrity throughout delivery.
Ensure solutions are delivered in line with architecture and technical standards.
Participate in governance processes including CAB and TDA design reviews.
Requirements
Deep expertise in Microsoft AI platforms (Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform)
Strong systems thinking and architectural judgement
Experience designing agentic AI and RAG architectures
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Leadership & Communication
Ability to mentor engineers and guide technical teams
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences
Manage senior technical stakeholders effectively
