Job description
- A Senior Project Manager with Cloud Experience leads end-to-end delivery of complex cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure projects, managing stakeholders, budgets, and technical teams. They define project scope, mitigate risks, ensure security compliance, and drive ROI through cloud adoption.., * Cloud Project Delivery: Lead complex cloud transformation projects (eg, migrations, modernization, infrastructure) from planning to go-live.
- Project Planning & Governance: Develop project plans, manage budgets, and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact, communicating project status to senior leadership and aligning stakeholders.
- Technical Coordination: Work with solution architects and engineers to ensure cloud solutions align with business requirements.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers and external partners (eg, AWS, Microsoft, Google).
- Financial Oversight: Track project financials, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI).
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in IT project management, specifically focusing on cloud migration or cloud transformation initiatives.
- Cloud Knowledge: Practical understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Methodologies: Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Leadership: Proven ability to drive team accountability, manage change, and resolve blockers.
- Certification: Prince2, PMP, or relevant cloud certification (eg, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) is highly desirable.
Typical Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
