AI Engineer

An established, high-growth technology consultancy is building a genuinely AI-native capability, embedding artificial intelligence into client delivery, internal platforms, and long-term strategy. This permanent, Full time AI Engineer role offers the opportunity to shape production-grade AI solutions in real-world environments, not just proofs of concept.

AI Engineer Responsibilities

• Own and evolve a production-ready AI platform
• Design and deliver AI-powered client solutions, including RAG pipelines, agent architectures, LLM integrations, and protocol-driven tooling
• Build scalable AI systems using modern software engineering best practice (clean code, testing, CI/CD)
• Develop internal AI tooling to accelerate engineering delivery
• Lead advanced AI knowledge-sharing sessions within internal upskilling initiatives
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks, protocols, and tooling
• Support pragmatic AI adoption across multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Strong software engineering foundations with a production mindset
• Proven hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including API integrations, prompt engineering, agent workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Experience shipping AI-powered features into production environments
• Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages
• Familiarity with emerging AI tooling (eg MCP, A2A, Threads or similar)
• Consultancy or client-facing technology delivery experience

Desirable:

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, or model fine-tuning
• Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred)
• Open-source contributions or visible AI side projects
