Job description
As a Deskside Support Technician (d/f/m) - Level 1, you will provide hands-on technical support to end users within a dynamic enterprise environment. You will deliver IMAC activities, break-fix services, device imaging, and support shop-floor operational hardware. This is a fully onsite role supporting a manufacturing environment in Neu-Ulm., End-User & Device Support
- Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks.
- Handle break-fix issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide onsite end-user support for hardware, software, and business applications.
Manufacturing Shop-Floor Support
- Support handhelds, rugged devices, laptops, scanners, and other shop-floor technology.
Data Collection & Migration Support
- Execute data collection and preservation activities for system migrations and eDiscovery.
System Setup & Configuration
- Stage, build, and image end-user systems using standard corporate image (eCore).
- Ensure proper configuration and handover to users.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with end users.
- Proficiency in German to collaborate with German-speaking teams and clients (Language level C1-C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR))
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum 2 years deskside or field support experience.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Windows OS.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and standard business software.
- Good customer support orientation and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of:
- Networking
- Telecom
- Compute/storage
- Mobile device support
