FRONTEND DEVELOPER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT- HYBRID - BPSS BUT SC PREFERRED - RATES 500-575 PD INSIDE
On site can be flexible across Bristol, London or Manchester. Most of the team is based in London, however any site would be accepted
We are looking for Front End Developer to join a busy Government client in their Data Library team
Experience
Experience writing and maintaining clean, well-tested code that follows web standards
Strong knowledge of modern web development stacks
Understanding of and act as an advocate for good user experience design, progressive enhancement, web performance standards
Experience working with others to integrate work well into Back End services
Experience using both automated tooling and manual auditing of services to ensure we develop accessible user interfaces which work effectively across multiple devices and browsers.
Coach and mentor colleagues.
A continuous learning mindset. And be collaborative, promoter of good team culture and passionate about testing and learning new things
Main Skills -
A focus on user-centred design
Comfortable with team working and collaborating with colleagues
Google Analytics experience would be a bonus
Python or Ruby
Front End experience is essential
Knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Figma experience and prototyping software
AWS familiarity is not required, however this would be a bonus
Broad knowledge of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SVG) and design and implement automated testing plans to help us deliver with confidence
