Job description

We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join our architecture and analysis function to help us make our goals a reality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work primarily on a greenfield programme working with enterprise architects, solution architects, product owners and engineers in agile delivery teams in the design and development of our new Salesforce centred insurance and customer platform. Our new strategic platform is built using SaaS and Cloud hosted PaaS components, with following Salesforce cloud components at its core - Service, Sales, Health and Marketing cloud as well as Salesforce Industries products., * Defining, designing and communicating digital first solutions for our strategic customer platform

  • Evaluating solution options, integration patterns and recommending the right one for a given situation ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Promoting low-code and out of the box usage of Salesforce components wherever appropriate
  • Working within an agile program and teams, adhering to Scrum or Kanban principles
  • Contributing to the architecture runway and target architecture
  • Ensuring appropriate governance processes are adhered to
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team and across the IT department, proactively assessing emerging technology / solutions for our business
  • Working with security and data protection officers ensuring the solution is secure by design and compliant

Work arrangements:

Requirements

  • Proven experience and knowledge working with Salesforce as a solution architect or senior engineer / administrator with a desire, aptitude and ability to move into Solution Architecture
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Health, Service or Sales Cloud including implementing Salesforce best practice
  • Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and their potential to deliver business benefits
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, managing effective stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and business requirements into technical design
  • Experience of Salesforce Industries Health/Omnistudio/Vlocity is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge integrating Salesforce with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
  • Salesforce certifications desirable, ideally a minimum of Platform Developer 1. Application Architect or System Architect would be preferred
