Job description
- Plan and execute integration and verification activities to meet project milestones and support certification efforts.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to translate system and subsystem requirements into tangible proving activities.
- Lead integration campaigns, ensuring adherence to safety standards and procedural rigour.
- Oversee programme governance for integration, including approval of test plans, risk mitigations, and final readiness assessments for trials.
- Manage resource planning, team capability development, and recruitment to meet project demands.
- Coordinate with suppliers and test facilities, presenting progress reports, test results, and resolutions confidently to stakeholders.
- Support the evolution of proving strategies, including hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and spiral development integration.
- Interface with project shareholders, providing clear guidance and updates on testing and verification activities.
Requirements
The role suits a resilient, strategic thinker with significant experience in test and integration activities, particularly within complex electronic and software environments. You will be decisive, adaptable, and calm under pressure, capable of making informed choices in uncertain situations. Your proactive mindset and ability to anticipate challenges will enable you to shape future proving methodologies. An understanding of hardware/software integration, electronics, and the PX4 software architecture is highly desirable.
Experience using general laboratory test equipment and data analysis tools, paired with a passion for tackling complex technical challenges, will set you apart. Excellent communication skills to present technical information clearly to stakeholders are essential. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoy shaping innovative approaches to system proving.
