Job description
Working as part of a design team, you will work under the direction of the Technical Manager where the key responsibilities are:
· Generate and issue production ready drawings, including arrangements, schematics and detailed manufacturing/engineering drawings for the commercial projects of the company.
· Use 3D CAD tools to generate boat assemblies.
· Liaise with suppliers as required.
· Participate in design reviews.
· Provide technical support to the production teams.
· Participate in other design office tasks as required.
· Ensure activities meet and integrate with organisational quality, health and safety, and environmental policies.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, · Thorough, methodical and pro-active.
· Able to work as a member of a team and under own initiative.
· Able to demonstrate an ability to visualise ideas from verbal or written instruction.
· Versatile to work on several projects at the same time and within a short period of time.
· Experienced using AutoCAD; previous experience of 3D CAD tools are an advantage.
· Graduate with academic and practical qualifications, or equivalent experience.
