eDV Cleared Software Engineer

iO Associates are hiring multiple Full Stack Software Engineers on behalf of our client to support a long-term engagement in the National Security space.

Due to the nature of the project, active UK*C DV clearance is essential. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants without this level of security clearance.

• Proficiency in one or more core languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, or C++
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Understanding of backend technologies like Node.js, Uvicorn, or Nginx
• Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools like Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
• Scripting knowledge in Bash, PowerShell, or similar

iO have multiple roles across a variety of clients and we are therefore keen to hear from anyone who would be open to working on a Hybrid basis in either Cheltenham, Bristol, Manchester, Milton Keynes or London.
