Job description
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Microsoft AI CoPilot Developer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 3-month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a remote role., * Build, configure, and maintain Copilot Agents using Copilot Studio, including topics, actions, plugins, and orchestrations.
- Develop custom connectors and integrations across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics, Azure, and third-party APIs.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns, including knowledge libraries, data sources, grounding, and prompts.
- Optimize agent behavior through prompt engineering and iterative tuning.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify automation opportunities and convert requirements into agent designs.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, We are seeking a highly skilled Copilot Agent Developer to design, build, deploy, and optimize AI-powered agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the broader M365 Copilot ecosystem. This role blends technical expertise, product thinking, and business problem-solving to deliver intelligent automations and conversational experiences that improve efficiency and create delightful user outcomes.
The ideal candidate is passionate about AI, has strong experience building automated workflows or conversational interfaces, and can translate business needs into scalable agent solutions., * Experience building copilot agents
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or other conversational AI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, prompts, grounding, and RAG workflows.
- Proficiency with Power Automate, APIs, JSON, Microsoft Graph, and workflow automation.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data governance, identity management, and enterprise security principles.
