Weather Forecast Experienced Numerical Software Specialist

This is a full-time role for a Software Engineer/Computer Scientist. In this position you will integrate the R&D team in charge of developing the next generation HiFi flow simulation software system for Weather Forecast. As part of the numerical technology group, you will extend the core solver technology, will conduct research, analyze data, develop creative algorithms and innovative solutions to complex problems., * extend PrediQT's new solver numerics and algorithmic towards Weather and Climate applications

• Program native GPU coding
• test and validate your new development on verification and well documented experiments
• Participate to scientific conference in the field of Weather ForecastWrite documentation and scientific papers
• Write documentation and scientific papers

We expect our team members to bring ideas, creativity and rhythm in the development of the first High-Fidelity Software for industrial and environmental flow simulations, with experience and strong background., A PhD's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a prerequisite., * Deep knowledge of the numerical weather prediction (NWP) codes, at the programmation level, with a focus on the WRF code
