Could you be the full-time Control Systems Engineer in either Saint Ouen( close to Paris) we're looking for?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in designing control systems and their sub-system interactions, ensuring that our Rolling Stock projects meet customer requirements. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Train Level, Safety and Availability teams, sub-systems, and software design teams), define technical aspects of control systems, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
You'll specifically take care of developing functional train architectures and validating them through simulation, but also support the integration and testing of these systems.
We'll look to you for:
- Analyzing, clarifying, and consolidating all applicable functional requirements at the train level
- Elaborating train functional architectures (command and control, with low voltage and software design) with a focus on Safety and Availability
- Developing and selecting suitable functional architectures, concepts, and design solutions through trade-off studies
- Ensuring timely decisions regarding functional architectures and system technologies to meet project milestones
- Issuing complete and correct functional specifications and interfaces for projects
- Specifying software solutions and overseeing their development, verification, and testing
- Validating functional designs through simulation and defining test specifications
- Reporting progress, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to functional architectures, software specifications, and project validation
Requirements

- 7+ years of relevant experience in system design, system analysis, sub-systems analysis, configuration management, and product management
- Mastery of both high-level and low-level functionalities
- Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, or automation engineering, preferably in industries such as railway, transport (automotive, aviation, aerospace), industrial projects, or nuclear plant environments
- Knowledge of software development, testing, and verification
- Ability to manage international projects with multiple teams in remote mode
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- Availability to travel and an interest in working in multicultural environments
