Job description
We're looking for a Business Support and Customer Service Adviser to join our team supporting the delivery of services to our local government partners.
This role focuses on providing efficient administrative support and customer assistance, helping ensure information is processed accurately and services run smoothly.
You'll spend much of your time working with data, updating systems and supporting operational processes, as well as contacting customers where follow-up or additional information is needed.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role behind the scenes in helping deliver reliable and high-quality services.
What you'll be doing
- Providing administrative and business support across a range of service areas.
- Accurately inputting and maintaining data across multiple systems and databases.
- Using tools such as Excel and other ICT systems to manage and process information.
- Reviewing applications and records to ensure information is complete and accurate.
- Making outbound calls to customers where follow-up information or clarification is required.
- Maintaining organised records and documentation in line with organisational procedures.
- Supporting team processes and helping ensure service standards are met.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations to deliver excellent services.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering a great service.
- Experience in an administrative, business support or customer service role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication skills and the ability to speak confidently with customers when required.
- The ability to manage tasks effectively in a busy team environment.
- A proactive and positive approach to work., * Data entry: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
