Job description
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a Junior you will have the opportunity to work on new and existing projects with a key focus on AI powered systems - SystemsX has products ranging from Call Monitoring / QA Platforms, Travel Booking, Drag&Drop No-code builders, Chat bots, Meeting notetakers and more., + Contribute to the development of scalable and high-performing backend applications.

Take projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and smooth delivery.

Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to identify and resolve issues.

Implement new features and functionality based on project specifications and user requirements.

Maintain best practices for testing, security, and performance optimization.

Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, framework changes and CVE. Our Tech Stack

Languages & Frameworks: PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, NodeJS, Bootstrap/Tailwind

Requirements

Experience and understanding of Laravel & PHP (2+ years experience)

Experience and understanding of NodeJS (2+ years experience)

Proficiency in writing maintainable, optimised and scalable code.

Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and API design.

Experience with database management and advanced queries
-
Technically minded - enjoy digging into data, analytics, and optimisations.

Organised, independent, and results-focused - you thrive when given ownership and responsibility.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to self-manage. Desirable Skills

Interest in ML/AI and implementing it in production environments.

Experience with Github, Ploi.io, Laravel Herd

Experience with Vue/Alpine,Livewire

Experience with Website scraping & NodeJS puppeteer
