Azure Devops Engineer

• Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
• Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

Requirements

• Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools hosted on Azure.
• Design, implement, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines and platform integrations.
• Develop Python-based automation scripts and services for governance controls, migrations, and operational housekeeping.
• Implement and maintain security and compliance best practices, including RBAC, secrets management, artifact governance, and vulnerability management tooling.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform upgrades and migrations, and reduce operational overhead through automation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to promote DevOps practices and improve the developer experience.

• Strong experience with Azure and Azure DevOps, including Repos, Boards, Pipelines, and Service Connections.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, integrations, API interactions, and operational tooling.
• Hands-on experience administering COTS applications in cloud environments, including installation, upgrades, high availability/disaster recovery (HADR), and backup management.
• Solid Linux fundamentals with experience in shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience administering Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) in Data Center and Cloud environments.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
