Infrastructure Operations Engineer (IDC)

1. Perform 5×8 IDC data center on-site duty according to Alibaba's operational standards; be able to respond and arrive on-site promptly for incidents during non-working hours as required by the incident management policy.

2. Maintain and update infrastructure information with 100% accuracy; regularly review alarm configurations and ensure the availability and stability of monitoring systems.

3. Identify and assess maintenance or repair risks based on MOP (Method of Procedure), and develop appropriate risk avoidance or contingency plans. 4 . Conduct root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement to enhance operational reliability.

4. Possess solid infrastructure technical knowledge, understand differences among major brands and models, and provide optimization recommendations.

5. Can propose optimization or improvement plans related to infrastructure monitoring, capacity, security, and availability.

6. Independently draft and execute change MOPs, ensuring zero incidents caused by operational changes.

7. Complete other related tasks defined in the Service Contract, Outsourcing Requirement Specification, and related annexes.

Diploma or above from a full-time college or university.

Major in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of industry experience in infrastructure or data center operations.

Proficient in basic infrastructure systems and IDC operational knowledge.

Language Skills: English + Chinese (English communication skills preferred).
