Job description
As a Senior Oracle DB Developer, you will work on challenging projects critical to the continuity and performance of a leading railway infrastructure operator. These projects involve consolidating and distributing information related to railway traffic management-covering pre-processing, real-time, post-processing, and back-office operations-to both external (railway companies, foreign infrastructure managers, European platforms) and internal stakeholders (real-time schedule visualization, billing, energy consumption calculation, Big Data systems).
You will contribute to both new developments and maintenance (corrective and evolutionary) of existing applications. Agile software development, source control, continuous integration, and modern development hardware are central to the work environment.
Scope of Work Design and validate 3NF data models based on functional analysis. Design and validate data models using Data Vault, Star Schema, or other modeling approaches. Implement data models and business logic using SQL and PL/SQL. Ensure code quality and manage promotion across environments (dev, test, acc, prod). Analyze and optimize application and database performance. Lead a small team: delegate tasks, discuss approaches, and report progress to technical teams, project leader, and team leader.
