Network Security Architect

Exciting opportunity to join a global business as Network Security Architect based in Wantage, offering opportunity to lead on global/enterprise network security projects & architecture, and long term career prospects., As Network Security Architect, you'll join a global security function and be responsible for:

• leading on network security strategy/architecture, including designing and leading a global network segmentation road-map
• overseeing improvements to Wireless, Wired, Remote Access, Firewalls, NAC and Internet Access solutions, as well as architect/designing solutions to future changes
• improving the company's global cyber security posture, through identifying network security related solutions/changes
• act as network security subject matter expert for local teams, defining standards and ensuring processes are adhered to
• collaborate with stakeholders globally, supporting on varied network related projects and changes

Applicants to the Network Security Architect role will have:

• substantial experience in network engineering/architecture, with network segmentation experience
• strong knowledge of network security solutions, coupled with strong understanding of enterprise networks and MS based infrastructure
• excellent communication and relationship building skills (preferably gained in a global business)
• strategic thinker, with strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• knowledge of cyber security frameworks (eg NIST, ISO27001 etc.)
• preferably hold relevant certifications (eg CISM, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, TOGAF etc.)
• Willingness to work in an office based/onsite role
