Cloud Solution Architect

Amass Technology are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to help define the business architecture and roadmap, supporting the delivery of scalable, modern digital products in a cloud-native environment.

This role works closely with Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to produce detailed solution designs and support the organisation's platform modernisation strategy. The position is an individual contributor role with significant influence over architecture standards and engineering practices.

• Strong experience designing scalable, resilient distributed architectures in the cloud, ideally AWS (Azure/GCP also considered).
• Experience within banking, retail investing, or financial services environments.
• Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, and third-party technology providers to deliver modern platform solutions.
• Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns, cloud-native development, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience supporting cloud-based product organisations and delivering decoupled, scalable platform architectures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern Front End frameworks (React, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with developer platforms and tooling (Terraform, CDK).
• Background in enterprise software or large-scale consumer platforms.
• Passion for open-source technologies and developer tools.
