Your new role

You will join as a Hands-on Solution Architect specialising in streaming technologies and operational data platforms. Key responsibilities include: Designing, building, and validating end-to-end solutions, not just providing architectural oversight. Leading PoCs, prototypes, technical spikes, and solution demos. Working across conceptual architecture, low-level design, and implementation guidance. Supporting architecture governance through reviews, standards compliance, and submissions to approval boards. Engaging confidently with senior stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and engineering teams. Operating autonomously while ensuring alignment and architectural integrity across teams.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong hands-on expertise in Kafka / Confluent Kafka, MongoDB, AWS, APIs, and Operational Data Stores (ODS). The ability to contribute with immediate productivity - prior experience delivering streaming and ODS solutions is essential. Capability to switch seamlessly between high-level architecture and low-level design/implementation. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage expectations, justify design decisions, and drive alignment across multiple teams.
