Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer you'll be responsible for the development, testing and maintenance of the data platform, ensuring the availability, reliability and integrity of data. You will interact and build relationships directly with the client's front office and technology teams to build out the data platform using in-house and vendor data tools.

Responsibilities will include analysis and implementation of data automation tasks and processes, creation of data pipelines from various data providers to populate the firm's data platform, curation of external and internal datasets to meet the front office's data needs, design and implementation of best-practice and pragmatic data design as well as developing and implementing data standards and quality rules., You'll be relocated to Bangkok for a 12 month period (onsite fulltime); all expenses covered including visa sponsorship, accommodation and subsistence allowance.

• You have experience in a Data Engineering role within a financial services or trading environment
• You have indepth SQL, Python and Apache Spark experience
• You have experience with Databricks and Azure

• You have meticulous attention to detail
