Job description
- analyze system specification and derive verification strategies and test cases
- define, document, and maintain structured test procedures
- plan and execute verification activities
- perform manual test execution to verify and validate functionality, usability, and system behavior
- design, implement, and maintain automated GUI tests using tools such as Qt Squish
- contribute to the continuous improvement of the automated test framework and verification infrastructure & processes
- document test results and provide clear reports on verification status, and identified defects
- work closely with system engineers and software developers to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and ensure testability
- support integration testing and regression testing throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
- have a degree in computer science, aerospace engineering or a comparable field of study
- have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- have the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, system engineers, and other stakeholders
- have solid experience with IT / information systems
- have experience in programming
- have experience in requirements/ testing/ verification (Define and implement test cases)
- have experience with Python
- have knowledge in Jira, XRay, or similar
- have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
