Job description

  • Focus on the work as a Solution Developer to create the next generation of our Warehouse Management System
  • Use modern methods, tools and technologies to realize exciting projects with us
  • Help to design new or modernized components for our innovative warehouse solutions by using container technology, suitable databases and cloud services professionally
  • Specialize in one topic as a Technical Expert or build up a broad knowledge and support your colleagues in word and deed
  • Contribute knowledge as an innovation Leader to various technical communities and develop new, innovative ideas for the entire company

Requirements

  • A degree in (business) computer science, a comparable qualification or several years of experience in development with the web technology stack
  • Good knowledge in common programming languages such as Java or Angular (TS, JS), as well as the necessary tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, GitLab, Microsoft Teams and Jira to implement your tasks
  • Relevant professional experience in agile software development (e.g. According to Scrum) and having a basic understanding of software architecture (microservices, SOLID and DDD) and software quality
  • First experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (preferably Microsoft Azure) in a professional environment
  • Initial knowledge with container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift) and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus are nice-to-have
  • Experience in dealing with large legacy systems and their replacement is also a plus
  • Good knowledge of English and an awareness that the best results can only be achieved through teamwork
