You also must be available within the next 2 weeks and willing to go into a Central London office 2-3 days per week., * Architect and build all core data warehouse layers across Snowflake, including raw, staging, and curated financial domains

  • Ingest and model data from a core banking system
  • Integrate with an enterprise integration layer and manage streaming ingestion where Snowflake subscribes to event streams
  • Implement medallion architecture for financial datasets, ensuring accuracy, lineage, and auditability
  • Define data architecture standards, best practices, and governance across a greenfield platform
  • Act as the technical lead across the full data life cycle including design, implementation, optimisation, and roll out

Requirements

  • Strong Snowflake engineering and architecture experience
  • Background in banking or financial services data platforms
  • Experience working with core banking data
  • Demonstrated ability to build streaming ingestion and event driven pipelines
  • Comfortable leading end to end implementation on a greenfield platform
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills capable of shaping technical decisions and overall data strategy
