Finance Analyst 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Work type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. 37 hours per week, Monday Friday. The Finance function is a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. This role sits within our Developer Services team, who deliver the essential water and wastewater infrastructure for new developments. We work with developers and planners to install new water connections, build sewers, divert existing pipes and provide expert pre planning advice to ensure every project meets regulatory standards. Its a fast paced, varied environment where your insights will help support smarter decisions and successful outcomes for our customers and communities. Where you fit in: As our Finance Analyst you will:

• Drive meaningful business performance by turning data into clear, actionable insights that empower our Finance Business Partners to make informed, strategic decisions.
• Own key reporting and forecasting activities for Service Operations and Developer Services, ensuring leaders have the intelligence they need to steer the business effectively.
• Dig into our financial and enterprise systems to extract accurate, timely data that directly supports our commercial and financial goals.
• Partner with Developer Services leadership and transformation teams, playing a hands on role in shaping improvements and supporting change initiatives.
• Analyse complex income and cost data, transforming it into simple, compelling recommendations that guide high impact strategic decisions.

• Ideally professionally qualified, studying towards qualification, or experienced in a relevant commercial finance discipline.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in fast paced, high pressure environments.
• Previous experience leading finance projects and using data insights to influence and improve performance.
• Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and experience with SAP, Power BI or similar tools for data visualisation, dashboards and automated reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and strong numeracy.
