Manufacturing Test Engineer

ProTech are currently working with an Electronics company based in Northampton who are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. The main duties of the Manufacturing Test Engineer will be to test and fault find down to component level on various products and test to specifications using appropriate test equipment., Diagnose faults to component level on Single Board Computers, Network and Graphics based products Test to specification using appropriate test equipment and documentation Maintain test equipment and carry out general housekeeping of test equipment to ensure ongoing reliability Accurately record all faults in SAP and prepare reports detailing fault diagnosis and corrective action/repair Candidates will be required to confirm test equipment is within calibration ranges set About UCA Consulting ltd

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Test Engineer looking for your next contract position? Can you fault find down to component level? Do you have experience within the Electronics or Defence sectors?, It is essential that candidates are computer literate Knowledge and experience of fault finding digital electronic circuitry Knowledge of Boundary Scan debug of electronic assemblies Proven experience of testing to component level Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis would be desirable Due to the nature of the project the Manufacturing Test Engineer will need to hold SC Clearance or have the ability to obtain it
