Overview This is a unique opportunity for you - a driven and talented financial modeller - to join the Financial Modelling team within our Financial Advisory business at Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm. You will be working on large and complex cross-team assignments, with output essential to project success. You will gain exposure to blue chip clients, ranging from private equity to corporates, and expand your skills into a full business modelling offering.Key Responsibilities The team is responsible for producing, reviewing and updating models and analyses for the Teneo financial advisory business, ranging from restructuring to M&A transaction projects. The team provides business advisory support to clients and internal Financial Advisory colleagues in addition to building models and analyses. Key responsibilities include the delivery of, but not limited to:Entity Priority Models and liquidation analysesDiscounted Cash Flow and valuation forecastsShort-term cash flow

Members of the team also compete in UK and international Excel competitions, providing an opportunity to improve Excel skills in a collaborative environment.What we look for Basic QualificationsACA qualified (or equivalent), or able to demonstrate equivalent experienceAt least 1-2 years experience in financial modelling or finance/consulting roles, supporting key clients and projectsStrong business diagnostic skills and the ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to problem solvingExcellent MS Excel and data manipulation competencies - other relevant technical analytical and database skills (e.g. VBA, Access, SQL, Python, Anaplan, data visualisation software) are desirable but not essentialStrong written and verbal communication skillsEnthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop both technical skills and an understanding of businessPrevious experience in financial and operational restructuring is advantageous but not essential - you will receive training as part of the roleDemonstrate an effective approach to time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines with potentially limited data setsBe client focused with the ability to establish strong working relationshipsWhat can we offer you?
