Job description

We're looking for a Hybrid Platform DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure across both cloud and on-prem environments. You'll bridge traditional operations with modern cloud-native engineering, helping to streamline deployments, automate workflows and improve system reliability. What you'll be doing

  • Designing, deploying and maintaining hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem)
  • Building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Implementing monitoring, alerting and logging for high availability
  • Enforcing security, compliance and best-practice configuration
  • Developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • Supporting development teams to optimise performance and reliability
  • Participating in on-call rotations and troubleshooting outages
  • Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation

Requirements

Top skills (in order of importance):

  1. Background in DevOps, SRE or Systems Administration
  2. Experience across cloud platforms + on-prem infrastructure
  3. Proficiency in Scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)

Essential:

  • Knowledge of containerisation/orchestration (eg, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD toolchains
  • Strong understanding of networking, Firewalls, VPNs and load balancers
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
