Job description

Overview Senior/Lead Automation Engineer position with a small boutique consultancy. You will join a small, passionate team that builds software used by major organisations to meet complex regulatory demands. The team is remote-first, and you can be based anywhere in the UK for this role.There is currently one Junior Tester; this role is the senior figure within the QA team. You will define a proper QA strategy, help establish better processes, collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and QA practices, and drive staged, holistic improvements. You will also support and mentor the junior QA. You'll shape quality from the start, challenge requirements, spot risks early, and ensure releases are robust, secure, and built to last.This role has a consultative edge. You'll work with enterprise clients to define sensible test strategies that fit their systems and business goals.
