We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong expertise in the analysis and interpretation of omics datasets and a solid background in statistics, programming, and molecular biology. In this role, you will contribute to the generation, integration, and interpretation of various omics datasets, including single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing data, to accelerate target identification, validation, and biomarker discovery. Your work will support our preclinical programs as they progress toward clinical development., * Build and manage omics datasets (particularly bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing data) to support hypothesis generation and mechanistic insights
- Perform target discovery and biomarker identification analyses using computational and statistical approaches
- Collaborate closely with wet-lab scientists and provide bioinformatics insights to guide research decisions
- Design and implement standardized end-to-end computational pipelines for multi-omics data analysis, including raw data processing, quality control, analysis, and
development of visualization tools (e.g., Shiny applications)
- Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and clear documentation across datasets and analysis workflows
- Stay up to date with emerging bioinformatics and data science technologies relevant to translational research
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven experience handling large-scale biological datasets, especially scRNA-seq data
- Experience applying machine learning techniques to identify biomarkers and interpret complex multi-omics data
- Solid understanding of molecular biology and translational research
- Strong programming skills in R and Python and familiarity with bioinformatics tools (e.g., Seurat)
- Experience with data visualization and communicating results to non-computational audiences
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines with experimental scientists
