Data Platform Architect

A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Data Platform Architect to manage permissions, optimize costs, and ensure the operational stability of their Snowflake data platform. The role involves collaborating with teams, defining best practices, leading CI/CD processes and deployments, and maintaining an integrated monitoring system. Candidates should have proven experience with Snowflake, Airflow, and GitLab, and hold a degree in Computer Engineering or related fields. This position offers a permanent contract with flexible start times., * Manage and control permissions and access in Snowflake.

• Monitor and optimize costs associated with Snowflake.
• Oversee the operation and stability of the data platform.
• Manage CI/CD processes using GitLab.
• Lead deployments in production environments.
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams.
• Document processes and architectural decisions.

Conocimientos

Snowflake administration and management Airflow orchestration dbt for data modeling CI/CD pipelines management Cloud data architectures Technical documentation

• Proven experience in Snowflake administration and management, especially in access control, RBAC, and cost optimization.
• Experience with Airflow for orchestration, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Solid understanding of cloud data architectures and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues related to deployments.
• Ability to implement and maintain integrated monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Advanced technical English proficiency., Degree in Computer Engineering
