Job description
- Develop robust and futureproof integrations using C, C# .NET, APIs, SQL, and MVC frameworks within Visual Studio
- Design, develop and deploy integration solutions that connect the company's automation platforms with customer ERP and business systems
- Work on internal projects to enhance and modernise the firm's seamless integrations through the development of API driven solutions
- Provide regular support along with the rest of development team in maintaining legacy systems when required
- Maintain and enhance Windows-based desktop applications (WinForms, WPF, and VB.NET legacy systems)
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to scope, design, and deliver integration projects
- Build and maintain scalable data solutions leveraging SQL, XML, and JSON
- Debug, optimise, and deploy performance tune applications
- Produce accurate technical documentations and ensure all digital information is stored correctly
- Participate in occasional travel across the UK and overseas to customer sites in order to support the wider team with on-site commissioning and configuration delivery
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, * Demonstrable development experience in C, C#, C++, SQL and MVC in Visual Studio
- Strong proficiency in SQL querying, reporting, stored procedures and database optimisations
- Applied knowledge of JSON and XML data structures
- Proven desktop development experience in a Windows environment
- Experience using Git and JIRA for version control and tracking support tickets
- Experience configuring and implementing ERP systems highly advantageous
- Previous hands-on experience with web development languages and frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC, HTML and JavaScript, * UK address history : 3 years (required)

Please note, this role is a full time, office-based role, with occasional opportunities to attend client sites to provide expert software integration support during system commissioning phase. Once settled in the role, there is an opportunity to exercise a hybrid working option after a period of 6-12 months.
Due to the nature of the role and the firm's global client base, the successful candidate will be required to complete weekly 'out of hours' overtime, which is paid at £200 per shift. If you complete up to five overtime shifts per month, you can earn an additional £1400 on top of your basic monthly wage., Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
