The team are now looking for a Embedded Software Manager to lead a team responsible for the critical software layer that sits between quantum hardware and software.You'll manage a team of engineers building real-time runtime components that interface directly with FPGA systems, networked equipment and hardware control platforms. All of which playing a key role in translating experimental and algorithmic requirements into reliable system-level software.For this Embedded Software Manager, we are looking for someone with

• Strong experience working with Linux-based systems in hardware-adjacent environments
• Experience interfacing with hardware over protocols such as USB, PCIe or Ethernet
• Proven experience leading or managing highly technical software engineers
• Ability to prioritise complex backlogs and balance delivery speed with quality
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across engineering and leadership teams
• Ideally, exposure to FPGAs, real-time systems or Rust
