Job description
The NetOps Engineer will join the Network Operations team, responsible for deploying, operating, and maintaining IP networks and mobile core infrastructures. The role ensures high availability, reliability, and performance across critical network services and supports the evolution of secure telecommunications environments., · Operate and maintain IP networking and mobile packet core environments. · Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problem resolution. · Support customer projects, including network deployments, integrations, and onboarding. · Perform advanced troubleshooting and escalate issues to R&D when necessary. · Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure SLA compliance. · Collaborate closely with the NOC and international cross-functional teams. · Contribute to monitoring, reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requisitos
Required Technical Expertise:
Mobile and Signaling Protocols: · Mobile technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G. · Signaling: Diameter (S6a, S5, S8, Gy/Gx), GTP v1/v2, SIGTRAN, SCCP, SIP, RADIUS. · Experience with roaming services and GRX/IPX networks. Networking and Systems: · Strong expertise in Layer 2/3 networking, IP routing, BGP, VLANs. · IPSEC VPN, network traffic analysis with Wireshark. · Linux administration (especially CentOS). · Databases: MySQL and Postgres. · Cloud and virtualization: AWS, Azure, VMware, Docker. · Platforms: DRA/STP, HSS/HLR, P-GW, OCS, PCRF.
Requirements
· Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or IP Networking - or equivalent professional experience. · Strong practical knowledge of IP networking, routing fundamentals, and telco environments. · C1+ English level is mandatory, as daily communication, documentation, and collaboration take place in English with international teams. · Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in complex network environments.
