Cloud Ops Engineer

Role & Responsibility:

• As the first line of defense, this position monitors systems and validate alerts using our array of monitoring tools.
• Following ISO policies to keep the system running within ISO scope.
• Perform first-tier troubleshooting using tools and utilities to resolve system/network performance and related system/network issues.
• Build new system and solution in AWS to meet business needs.
• Proactively work to refine documentation of systems/network, troubleshooting guides, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure quick and effective response to an outage per policies.
• Work with the remote team to ensure maximum uptime of the system.
• Work hours: 8 hours rotating shifts. Shifts are mandatory, no exceptions.

Will need to carry a pager as backup on-call.

Requirement:

• 4-8 experience years as a devops or cloudops supporting 24x7 mission critical applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Must have good understanding of AWS services and components like EC2, EBS, VPC, WAF, ALB, Lambda, S3, IAM, etc
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with various monitoring tools such as Prometheus, CloudWatch Agent, etc.
• Must have scripting experience with tools like Ansible, shell script, powershell, Python, Teraform
• Mush have working experience with windows and linux instances.
• Experience working in a regulated or ISO certified environment is a plus.
• AWS certification and ISMS experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Ability to work non-standard business hours.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Burp test, Pen Testing or Oracle DBA Experience is a Plus.
